Kept waiting FOREVER
The freezing weather outside made the crowds wait for over an hour, not a great start to our evening. The excitement was waning. The bartender informed us that she was running at least an hour and a half late once we finally entered the arena. This surely must be a mistake. Nope, the DJ didn't run late by an hour and a half, and it wasn't until after 10:00 that she took the stage. In true Madonna form, there was no apology. Our time is as valuable as yours, come on Madge. The excitement was definitely fading by now. Due to babysitter commitment, we could only stay for an hour, so there's not much to say about the show. So, boo. After going home, we read that this is a common issue for her, so for anyone else planning to see one of her shows, expect to stay until at least 1:30 am. We work the next day, have babysitters, etc.
